About the webinar
During the webinar we will learn about a unique model of a modern school and Swedish experience in kids' development. How to create a future global citizen? How to build a comprehensive, thematic, creative curriculum with specific learning objectives for each subject, for the international mind and for personal learning? How to stimulate learning in the areas of social competence, language, mathematics, art and natural sciences and make ICT a part of a daily program? And what is more important – how to make kids feel happy?

Futuraskolan International Bergtorp offers Grade 6-9. Starting from Grade 6, lessons are conducted approximately 50% in English and 50% in Swedish. The school follows the Swedish National Curriculum together with the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC). To complement International Curriculum and to give students a more personalized learning experience Futuraskolan International Bergtorp offers three after school Enrichment programs: Creative Arts, Global Citizenshipand Fitness and Wellness.

Kevin Munro
Kevin is an experienced Principal with a demonstrated history of working in International and Swedish schools. Skilled with educational reform and facilitating school improvement and change. Kevin is Australian, yet lived half his life in Sweden. He completed his Principals training in Sweden and has
experience in different school forms in an International environment. After 6.5 years at Stockholm International School, Kevin is now enjoying life as a Principal within Futuraskolan.
